Baggsket8 A fun, quick and easy way to make your own colorful basket from paper that you choose!
Materials needed Bag template from Draggin' Ink Follow the directions on the template to make two or three bags, depending on how tall you would like your Baggsket. Now, starting with the bag that will serve as the bottom, measure up from the bottom 2" and cut off the rest so the bag is 2" tall. With the next, cut the bag so that it is 3" tall and if you'd like a taller Baggsket, add another at 4" tall. Next, fold the tops down on all of the bags 1" and nest the bags, one inside the other, starting with the shortest one and with the tallest one on the inside. All of the folded tops should be snug against each other. If you feel there is too much paper on the inside, feel free to cut out the bottom of the tallest (innermost) bag. To make the handle; Cut a strip of paper 3" X 11". You can use the cut-off tops from any of the bags if you like. Fold the paper into thirds the long way. With the handle going all the way to the bottom edge, attach the handle in the middle of the Baggsket with staples, glue or stitch it on with raffia or yarn for a more decorative look. Decorate your bag with rubber stamps, stickers, ribbon,
glitter, etc! Fill with small goodies or an egg or two! Look for other fun things from Draggin= Ink at your local craft store! 8 1999 Draggin= Ink All rights reserved
