Double Decker
Pumpkin Card

Perfect for party invitations
or scary Halloween greetings!

Materials needed:
-Octagon template from Draggin
= InkJ
-Hexagon gift tag template from Draggin
= InkJ

-Two sheets 8 1/2" X 11" of orange paper
-three feet of green and/or tan curling ribbon
-single hole punch
-pencil
-scissors

Optional:
-one sheet green or tan paper to match the curling ribbon

Trace, score and cut out both the Octagon and the Hexagon gift tag patterns. Place your message in the Gift tag section while flat. Fold both according to directions. If you=d like to add eyes, nose and a mouth, Jack-O-Lantern style, do this now with the black marker. (This goes best on the non-folded side of the card.) Unfold and punch a hole in each of the six Aarms@ of the Gift tag template and the eight wide sections of the folded part of the Octagon. Loosely fold the two.

With about a foot of ribbon, lace the curling ribbon thru the inner, smaller Apumpkin@. Draw the ribbon and loosely tie it off. Curl the ribbon. Using the other two feet of curling ribbon Insert it into the other Apumpkin@ and repeat the process with the ribbon. Pull the ribbon curls outside of the outer Apumpkin@ for a nice effect.

Optional: use the leaf pattern to add a leaf or two to the outside pumpkin vine. Punch a hole in the base of the leaf and lace the ribbon thru. Make sure that you add the leaf before you curl the ribbon!

Happy Halloween!
