Hearts ‘N Flowers Pin
items you will need:
Mizuhiki, 4-8 strands, 9"L, different colors
4" craft wire, 26-32 gauge
floral tape, pin back
curling tool
1) Fold all strands in half. Wire them together at the "V" with the
craft wire by twisting the wire.
2) Bend, as a group, half of all the strands back and down to the center,
forming "half hearts".
Arrange so, when combined, they form a full "heart".
Wire the bottoms of those strands together to make the stem and add a dab of
glue at the base for stability if desired. Cover the stem with floral tape. Add
a pin back if desired.
3) Now, with the curling tool, curl the other halves of the strand, either in
tight curls or bend them into larger arcs.
