Draggin' InkJ
-five square sheets decorative (or Origami) paper,
(One each: 9 3/4", 8", 7", 5 7/8", 4 5/8")
   and
-five square sheets liner paper in smaller sizes
-pencil
-scissors
-glue, rubber cement or double stick tape

for the Surprise Book:
-two pieces 2
2" sq. thin chipboard (like a cereal box)
-one sheet decorative paper 8
2" X 11" cut to 2 1/4" X 9"
-two sheets decorative paper, 4" X 4"

To make the nesting Square-Velopes:
Follow the easy directions on the templates.
Inset the liner paper inside the Square-Velope
leaving 1" or less margin away from the top
edges of the top flap. Secure in place.
Glue or tape down the overlapping edges of the
Square-Velope. Repeat for all five sizes.

To make the Surprise Book:

Cut two pieces 2
2" sq from a cereal box. Glue each one in the center of a sheet of decorative paper, 4" X 4", cutting out corner squares where they would overlap (see illustration above). Apply glue to the inside of the book cover and fold the flaps over and make sure they stick. With the one sheet of decorative paper 8 2" X 11", cut one piece longwise 2 1/4" X 9". Fold into four sections by folding in the middle (shortways) and folding again so you get an "accordion fold". Glue the two end sections to the insides of the book covers. If you=d like more pages to the book, simply increase the length of the strip of paper by 2 1/4" per page desired.

Perfect for poetry, small photos or stamped images to remember a special event or express your heart.
