Materials needed:
-My Stars! Kit from Draggin
= Ink
-clear acetate
, 4-8 sheets depending on star
-Krylon
J Stained Glass spray color (your choice)
-Copper snail tape (adhesive backed)
-doublestick tape
-scissors
-pen
-scoring tool
-large brown paper bag or cardboard sheet
(For a spraying surface)
-old magazine or pad of paper
-ruler

Mark and cut out the star pieces out of acetate. Using the brown paper bag or cardboard sheet, lay the acetate pieces out and spray them with the KrylonJ  color of your choice. This paint is intended for glass, so you will get a beautiful stained glass effect. Follow the instructions on the spray can. Let dry overnight. Using your scoring tool and ruler, make your score marks on the UNPAINTED SIDE of the acetate. Make the individual points using the doublestick tape. If you are using copper snail tape that is wider than 1/2", cut it down. The brand we used was almost exactly 1" wide so we just cut it in half. Cut a length of tape that will go up one side of the along the edge to the point and down the other, cutting out a notch at the point so the tape will lay flat. Apply the snail tape to all edges of the points. Assemble the points according to the instructions with the doublestick tape. To complete the "Stained Glass@ look, use short lengths of snail tape to put in the junctions where the bases of the points meet.

Wow! Stand back and appreciate your handiwork!
